Exploit historique pour le jeu vidéo français : Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, premier titre du studio montpelliérain Sandfall Interactive, a décroché le trophée suprême de Jeu de l’année 2025 lors de la grande cérémonie des Game Awards, à Los Angeles hier soir.

Face à lui, une concurrence monstrueuse : Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, Donkey Kong Bananza, Hades II, Hollow Knight: Silksong ou encore Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. Mais c’est bien l’ambitieux RPG français qui s’est imposé, confirmant une soirée exceptionnelle pour Sandfall : le jeu repart également avec les prix de la meilleure réalisation, du meilleur récit, de la meilleure direction artistique, du meilleur RPG, ainsi que deux récompenses artistiques majeures (meilleure musique pour Lorien Testard et meilleure interprétation pour Jennifer English).

Bien entendu, face à un buzz pareil, Hollywood s'intéresse déjà au titre et l'idée d'une adaptation cinématographique pourrait vite se concrétiser.

Notons par ailleurs que d'autres Français ont soulevé un trophée hier soir : l'équipe eSport française, Team Vitality (sur Counter-Strike 2) a été sacrée.
