Fiona Apple

Fiona Apple naît en 1977 à New York. Elle commence à apprendre le piano à l'âge de huit ans. Quatre ans plus tard, elle compose ses premières chansons après avoir été victime d'un viol suite à la séparation de ses parents. A seize ans, elle quitte l'école et séjourne à Los Angeles où elle enregistre une démo. En 1996, elle sort son premier album Tidal et entame une tournée. Le single Shadowboxer est un succès. Trois ans plus tard, Fiona Apple signe un deuxième album intitulé When the pawn hits the conflicts he thinks like a king what he knows throws the blows when he goes to the fight and he'll win the whole thing 'fore he enters the ring there's no body to batter when your mind is your might so when you go solo, you hold your own hand ans remember that depth is the greatest of heights and if you know where you stand, then you know where to land and if you fall it won't matter, 'cuz you'll know that you're right.
